White Wines

Most of our wines are available by the 175ml, 250ml glass and bottle, however some are only available by the bottle.

Symposium White Vin de Pays– Southern France
A medium dry wine of the Aude valley a blend of Chardonnay and Chasan grapes, showing fresh citrus fruit aromas on the nose and a crisp acidity on the palate.

Ochagavia Sauvignon Blanc - Central Chile
Zesty, grassy green, citrus flavours bursting with fruit and balanced with fresh acidity.

 Moon Harvest Chardonnay – South Eastern Australia   
Harvested at night to enhance the flavour found when the grapes are at their premium, and to reduce oxidisation. Nectarine, peach and melon with a hint of cinnamon.

Vallade Pinot Grigio - Veneto, Italy
A tasty, light and zesty wine, with flavours of juicy pear and good acidity, it is ideal on its own or with light meals, subtle flavours and fish.

Fernao Pires, Pinhal da Torre - Ribatejo, Portugal
A shimmering, bright mid deep yellow gold colour with a distinct green hue. A subtle nuanced peach greengage and green apricot fruit, this is totally charming and seductive, a really moreish wine with hints of jasmine.

Quintaluna, Verdejo, Rueda Blanco - Ossian, Spain    
Clear and bright, mid yellow with a green gold tinge, it parades exotic fruits with a touch of spice and there is a mineral freshness, lots of citrus fruit, some papaya and rock salt.

Torrontes, Finca La Florencia, Familia Cassone – Argentina    
Enticing, delicate aromas fruity, floral yet still quite drywith hints of peach, flowers and orange citrus fruits, mouth watering and extremely fresh.

Joseph Druhin Chablis - Burgundy, France   
A steely, bone dry Chardonnay from the world famous French domaine; Drouhin is one of the  biggest producers in Burgundy and famed for quality and consistency.

Ochagavia Cabernet Sauvignon – Central Chile
The strong Chilean sun and arid terroir are perfect for making full bodied wines.  This wine has rich dark berry fruits, with perfectly balanced tannin that adds structure without stripping the juicy flavours.

Ochagavia Merlot - Central Chile
The warm climate of Chile produces this fruity, juicy red wine with plummy flavours that is balanced well with light tannins.

Long Beach Shiraz- South Africa
This classic full bodied Shiraz is softly textured and shows rewarding juicy flavours of red berries and plums with hints of cinnamon and crushed black pepper ending in soft vanilla tones.

Malbec Finca La Florencia - Familia Cassone, Argentina
A delicious full-bodied red, full of charm and warmth with rich hedgerow fruits such as blackcurrants, brambles and dark berries and hints of cedar and chocolate on the finish, a perfect marriage with most pasta and red meat dishes.

Chateau de Pic, 1er Cotes de Bordeaux - France
A Fantastic youthful Claret that has great purity of fruit and a silky texture, predominantly Merlot based, this wine has a great approach and irresistable charm.

Bodegas Edguren Rioja Cosecha - Spain   
This is not the leathery-old-boot of a wine you may presume. The Eguren family use modern techniques to craft a luscious, round, berry fruit driven wine from their Tempranillo grapes- delicious.

Colli Fiorentini Chianti – Tuscany, Italy
A ruby red wine of medium intensity, bright, delicious black cherries and violets, hints of raspberry and loganberry fruit with lovely subtle fresh herb nuances. A soft and medium body on the palate with great balance.Btl £22.00

Chateau Mont Redon Lirac - Rhone Valley, France
Established in 1344, Mont Redon is one of the oldest wine producing estates in France. Lirac epitomises the high quality of Rhone wine without the old dusty flavours.  Bursting with red fruits, this is a bright medium bodied wine.

Chateau Teyssier Grand Cru - Saint Emillion, France
A boutique winery owned by Jonathan Malthus that is on the gravel plateau surrounding St Sulpice, St Emillion.  The Merlot is so deep and brooding it only needs a year in new oak to provide the subtle tannin and structure of this elegant wine.

Chateauneuf-du-Pape Versino – Southern Rhone, France
Spice and saddle leather complexity on the nose, wonderfully rich crushed, gourmand fruit flavours of bramble and blackthorn on the palate, notes of  cassis and kirsch too, silky  smooth yet so intense and persistent.
