Really enjoyed our visit today, food was great and reasonably priced and the dogs loved their biscuit too :) will definately be back!

I really enjoyed our lunch in your bothy bar on Friday 16th November. Its great that we could bring our dog in and have lunch whilst he lay in front of the cosy open fire on a cold winters day. The tomato and pepper soup was great and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you guys for friendly and prompt service and of course giving my dog a wee biscuit too

Saturday night was amazing, everyone had a brilliant time, loved the delicious food and couldn’t believe the portion sizes and thought the band were great fun getting everyone involved. It was the perfect evening! Thank you again for going out of your way to take some of us home…I felt so sorry for you and your wife but was very grateful – it was extremely generous of you to help us out!

We came here for a meal and happened to find it was one of the regular music nights. We had a wonderful time to the point that we've re-booked the same place for next year and roped some friends in to come and visit you again!

I'm not a big ale drinker but when my husband was on his motorbike tour of Scotland last year he made a special trip here to pick up a bottle of my favourite - Lade back!

I had my first visit 3 years ago and it was the BEST meal I have ever had in my life and at a great price too, the Ladeout ale is one of the best ales I have ever had! I have been back many times since and even have taken a 80 mile detour to eat at the Lade Inn its really that good! I wish I could have the recipe for the beer battered haggis balls in whisky sauce as they are delicous! Lade Inn please never ever change. and the lady in the ales shop is the best sales woman I have met, but she does have alot of great merchandise I have to say.

Today I visited the Lade for the first time with my husband, daughter, and parents and we had to let you know about our visit. The welcome was very friendly, the whole establishment is spotless, the staff are all very friendly and helpful and willing to meet all your needs, and my husband appreciated being able to taste the beer before he bought them. The menu offers a great choice for all the family, including children and older people with smaller appetites who can still enjoy the full range of food but in smaller portions. The starter of deep fried haggis balls was a delight - light, fluffy and very tasty. The food is all extremely well presented amd we were very impressed by the fact that all the food was clearly fresh, high qulaity and home made. The steak and ale pie was packed with tender and tasty steak; the fish was a delight; the chips were home made and fresh and the peas clearly fresh rather than tinned or frozen; the scampi was juicy and tasty and the baked potato was a hit with my daughter who ate it all and loved the cheese, stating it was creamy, and strong flavoured. Everything was hot and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed sitting outside in the garden having a drink while watching the fabulous range of birds. It was peaceful, relaxing and very enjoyable. We all had a wonderful visit and we would definitely visit again. We would also recommend your establishment to others...but we don't want so many to come that we can't get back. Thank you for a very pleasant visit.

I want to say we were very satisfied of our first passage in your pub on february 2009. We eat in your restaurant at midday and enjoyed very much all the meals ! We were eight persons with four little chidren. As my son works in Stirling and lives in Glasgow we'll return sometimes in Scotland.

So, next time in june, we hope to be one more time in your inn for eating and also listening scottish songs ... and drinking Lade beer !

As one of your state side fans, I enjoy reading your events, which I could be there, and hope to make it back to your place again when we next visit Scotland. My wife and I still remember the evening we spent in your pub watching BaRaN play, and I listen to the album all the time. Just curious, is there any chance a new album of their work is out? And are there any videos of them playing by any chance? Ever think of putting up a web cam so we can watch remotely?

I booked the Scottish Morgan Sports Car Club (known as JockMog") evening with you on June 21st, we were in the "Bothy". Great feedback from our members for everything from beer to food and service. Had it not been for the heavy rain in parts of Scotland we would have had at least ten more folks there. This is now our second visit and you are firmly on our list of venues to return to.

We visited the Lade Inn just after Christmas and were very happy to meet the family and enjoy the food and atmosphere. We had eaten there several times over the years, but this was the first time since you took over. It was such a pleasure chatting with Mum and buying our Ladeback, Lade Out, and WayLade glasses - I'm drinking from one now! We expect to see you again next January when we are back in Scotland. When we were there in late December, Mum mentioned that you were looking into the possibility of selling shirts with a Lade Inn logo on them. Will you be selling them via your web site, or do we need to wait until we see you in person again? Thanks!

We visited your pub last Sunday (New Years Eve) after a very damp walk! What an excellent pub you run. We only stopped for some beers, but really got a wonderful feeling for the place, so much so that we bought a mixed case of ales to enjoy that night (and they were indeed heartily enjoyed!) Next time we are up that way we will all be in for a full evening! Having been in the pub trade on and off for years and are lucky enough to be close friends of an excellent local brewery here called the Chiltern Brewery who run a marvellous pub in the area, I can only congratulate you on a great venue! What a great end to a cold day hunting for sledging snow up by Glencoe! We made a spur of the moment decision to stop by the Lade Inn on our way back to Edinburgh and found good food served in a welcoming restaurant served by friendly staff. Perfect!

We found you last summer soon after you opened and had such a great meal that we resolved to return - affa gweed, we jist love yer haggis, neeps & tatties! We came back this month with friends from Bavaria. They raved about your inn for the rest of the holiday. We were sure of great Scottish food & drink and we were all agreed that we had a great time. Scottish evening with Baran was fantastic and highlight of our trip back home. We'll certainly come out of our way again next year to sample your super hospitality once more - and to buy more bottles of LadeOut!

We dined at your Inn last Saturday ,a party of six booked in the name of Ross. On behalf of the rest of the party I write to say what a pleasant relaxed time we had over good food made all the more memorable by the young Polish waitress who was so charming. Appart from good servive she was only too eager to chat to us replying to our questions.Her comments kept us and neighbouring tables well amused. Once again many thanks for a super evening.
